we have a special event company that does flowers and equipment rentals for weddings and parties... now (event furniture too) . we are another store in a whole different kind of market... we love it because it is soooo diverse and fun. on valentine's day we are part of an annual bridal show. how can we really stand out to get brides to make appointments and come by to check out our new space.(we are new in this wedding district) and guarantee they keep their appointments. what should our game plan be. we do chair covers for weddings and events and have thought about offering a great rental special on them along with our lounge furniture as well. please help

    Make sure you're on weddingwire.com, theknot.com, whitewedding.com and all those places. Also be in the event section of craigslist....all free.

    With a client who is after the sames brides as you, not rental, we have our information at every banquet facilily and caterer in the metro area. You have to stay on them quarterly if not monthly.

    We started approaching salons (nail and hair) because brides-to-be talk to their hair dresser...or whatever you call them now. You need to pay a finders fee of at least $25 if you get a gig from them.

    The only vendor I've had problems working with are videographers. Most others are open to any sort of co-op deal.

    Give away your services to one lucky bride (estimated value = $XXXX). To enter - make an appointment and show up. Runner-ups get $XXX in additional services (upgrade of fabric, etc.?) for free.
