What can you add to the PR team in ?

I've asked such a question before, I believe that I couldn't answer it as it should be answered. I was taking about general things, so that I may give just an answer for the question.
I would really much appreciate your support regarding giving me background that can help me out in answering such a question.

Note: The position that I was applying for was a marketing position.

This is a pretty basic question and one that's asked almost every time, or a version of it. Before you go on the next interview, do as much research as you can on the company-- know where you can contribute to the org and how. Review how your background compliments the company- -they're asking what can you bring to the table.

Alright then, I'll definitely make researches about company the next time. But in regards to the company in which I asked such a question, it's working in the telecommunications filed. What are the essential things that the marketing specialist can bring to the company like that when it comes to PR.

YOu have to dig within. What can you contribute. If you can't sell yourself no one else can. It really doesn't matter the industry. What can you draw from your past that if replicated in this postion would make you valuable to the company.

It doesn't have to be complex. I once was coached by a recruiter for a postion where she warned "the interviewer always asks this question, it's a stupid question so I'm going to tell you what to tell him".

The question was a variation of yours. "Why should i hire you" The answer he wanted "Because I know how to sell". She confided he rejected applicant after applicant because they went on and never hit the point.

So, what is it? Have you demonstrated a no excuses, get her done, hard work ethic, think out of the box attitude that got your company great results and you can do it for them? Maybe that is all they are looking for.
